To help people see the beauty in life through my pictures and art work.
Because they might not be able to experience the places due to
Physical or financial limitations.
But yet still experience the beauty in the world through my imagery.
Sometimes the pain has to be so great that someone would do almost anything to buy something or do something in order to eliminate or alleviate the problem or pain.
Why I’m doing photography. I was in my mid 20s and I wanted to get a degree in photography I didn’t though as a teacher discouraged us students. I then went to massage therapy school. And ended up not doing it as it had a bad stigma at that time. I regretted not getting a photography degree. And years later I was given a chance to go back to college. I did I went for a multi media artist degree. As it was something I wanted to do as a child. I had forgotten but was reminded by my grandmothers sister. Then I had a chance for another degree. I jumped at a photography degree. I had two semesters to go and I was off for summer break and I ended up in the Intensive Care Unit. School was to start in about three weeks. I lost muscle mass and my strength eyesight not to good. I fought to get myself as best I could so I could finish that degree and I did. Photography saved my life. Since graduating with the two degrees I felt I needed to learn more I was searching for something I didn’t what but I thought I would find it through photography. A few years later still studying I took a couple more online classes. Bingo, I hit what I was looking for. But to get me to study this and reflect on it. It took me to injure my arm and shoulder I ended up on my back for a couple weeks. And I was able to reflect and learn. And I was in a lot of pain. I learned a person will do almost anything to get outa that kinda pain. So I now have a vision of what I want to to do.
Share my photography. I have been going to senior citizen care places. And me and my friend have shared are images my photography and his paintings. It’s been a joy for me to share. I have been to several hospitals with the elderly. And I notice the images photography and paintings. It living up the facilities makes it a peaceful place in places that are full of the sick and injured.
So that’s what I’m doing sharing my pictures to help create a peaceful loving environment for people who may not be able to go to some of the places I visit due to psychical or financial restraints.
All the best,
Cheers on your adventure…
Some people wonder what brought me to photography. I did take a class in high school. But that was ages ago. Then the first time I started going to college I took a class again it wasn’t earth shattering the teacher discouraged us even going in the industry. So I later went to become a massage therapist. I ended up not working I. The industry as most people aren’t looking for male massage therapists. It’s changed a little bit over the years but it’s wonderful if you’re a female. So I worked in another industry.
It did come to a end with the financial crisis. While industries no longer exist because of that and the internet.
I then had a chance to go back to college and I did. I’ve studied marketing and sales and personal development the majority of life. I did question everything I had learned and build on it from scratch again.
So I went to college and earned a multi media degree as I have a love for advertising and marketing and wanted to design it to the highest standard I could visually and with words. I then got three certificates in web design and a couple others. While doing that I took a photography class. I had regretted not getting the degree the first time around. So I went to earn it.
While earning it I had two semesters to go and I was off for the summer. I got really sick my body was acidity and it was eating my muscles I became week and ended up in intensive care. I might not have lived had I not went to the hospital that night I wouldn’t have made it through the night.
I struggled but was determined to earn the degree that pushed me to get better. So I completed the degree I was hooked. It wasn’t easy for me but I was hooked photography saved my life.
I still hadn’t built my muscles up. After getting my degree I studied photography day and night I was obsessed with it for about three years after it consumed me day and night.
I wanted to get out and take some pictures in some of these place but I needed to develop my muscles. A friend helped me get a puppy he would be big and I can say he helps me build my muscles everyday.
A few months ago. I did to much with him over worked my muscles my arms and back were in a lot of pain. My arms really didn’t work to much. I couldn’t write or draw with my life. It’s funny massage school what I learned is how I healed myself. I did see a doctor just so you know.
Any how now I’m stronger then I ever have been. My dog saved my life as well as photography. I just love um.
I haven’t done it my whole life but I’m obsessed with it and what I learned with the multi media degree.
But that’s a life taking a different course direction and finding another one. So I hope you enjoy my imagery as much as I enjoy making it.
I have been contemplating the reason for life. To me it seems to be survival. When I used to do martial arts the teacher said generations ago this style fought against the samurai. However under our style we survive and can come back at another time if our honor has been broken. The opposite is true of the samurai. Not much is known about the style I took except that it was the old ways.
We would train for perfection in the simplest things. I have come back to that realization in my life. Life is about surviving. However in life we if we can can get some things to make life more enjoyable simple luxuries. A nice car a nice art piece. Nice clothing. It makes life a little more enjoyable.
In order for us to survive we no longer have to go hunt. We can work for money that is how we hunt. Salespeople marketing people they are the hunters that the the rest of society has to depended on in order to get money. Without them the whole system falls apart. Everyone else’s who is not part of sales and marketing. Is a bye product of the sales and marketing efforts everything would come to a halt without them as no money would exchange hands. If that happens. Then basic survival is at jeopardy There is no need for management no need for accounting departments no need for compliance departments if no money is being exchanged for a product or service. It all just cones to a stand still. The business would seize to exist.
I want to share my photographic art with others so they can enjoy the peace of what was taken. I’m reminded of the farmer what he grows corn and cultivates he gets corn not something else. I’m reminded of the Bible what we think is what what we get.the whole positive motivation and self improvement industry is based on what we think about is what we get.
However the gaming industry sees it a different way so does Hollywood. They think the violence they produce has no effect on society and the morals of how society acts. I think different put good in get good out put bad in get bad out. Health fitness gurus are part of this thinking as well. It garbage food don’t exercise don’t get fit body. Eat good food exercise get good body.
For me I prefer to put good things in my mind and body. If you choose differently then it’s called free choice. I’m reminded of a story a young boy had a painting of a ship at see in his room so did his brothers they went off to see. The mom being afraid her youngest boy would go off to see asked a psychiatrist what to do. This is when doctors made house calls. He looked over the room and said change the picture of the sea fairing ship. To something else. The boy grew up and never went to sea as his brothers did. But did something else. The story is vague in my mind. But I hope you get the point of it.
They say pictures that are positive help reduce depression. I’m one to believe in that thought group.
So I enjoy creating pictures of more uplifting spirit. Yes it’s a luxury to have my pictures. But it will brighten up the place. Or you could choose a room with no windows painted grey and black. If you think it won’t have a effect on you and listen to screens of horror as it will have no effect on your state of being.
But that’s not me and I hope it’s not you and you do want to enjoy some finer things in life and choose to cultivate your mind with uplifting imagery.
What’s your reason why?
In marketing and persuasion, people like to know your reason why. A unique selling proposition is another name for reason why. Simon Sinek find your why? If you look on ted talk you can gain greater clarity.
I guess I am hoping others share there why and join me on this journey through my posts.
I have been studying reading marketing, advertising, selling, motivation topics for over thirty years. I did money brokering business and got to know well known famous people and a lot of people. I looked at a lot of business plans for loans and venture capital. I learned a lot of people see wealth as raising money. And a few in making money. I worked with Dolerean and after the project we were working on died when he died. I took a break. I learned there is a lot to life more then just money. I looked. Deep inside.
One thing I saw was people seeking money didn’t put together good presentations. Or gave a good designed presentation. I always did a make over to show a client that would approve of a loan.
I then got a opportunity to go to school later in my life. I learned as a kid I wanted to be a multi media art after I got my degree and I always loved photography. While going to school I almost died I know others can relate during games summer break. Photography my desire to get my degree in saved my life. I could have easily dropped out. I really couldn’t see for the first month of the semester the teacher worked with me and I asked them if they wouldn’t mind keeping a eye on me as this was a strong desire. I was weak I asked other students if they could help with the flash diffusion that was just to hard to set up or take apart. My camera back back was heavy I wasn’t sure if I could even drive myself to school.
I did get my degree in it and my desire for the love of photography has helped my health, as my doctor is in disbelief at how well I have recovered.
Through life I’v learned pictures to people are a valuable as in wars and natural disasters pictures are one of the first possessions people take. When I was a teenager I threw my yearbooks away. I have regretted it, and I’ve saved a lot of family pictures when friends of my siblings were no longer friends or a boyfriend or girlfriend was no more I saved the ripped up pictures. They are valuable now but at the time they were discarded.
So this is my reason why I do photography and multi media artist stuff. I know what to do as I have seen a lot of business plans and marketing plans and it has been a something I love to study. But even the best can be knocked down. So I’m sharing my thoughts to help you as I do it helps me and helps me be accountable what I signed up for for this challenge.
A lot of my posts are to help you grow your business through marketing. I just need a little push why I’m doing this and I hope you share your thoughts as it helps everyone I’m hoping.
Take care for now,
I tried my hand at the brokerage business, it went under different names finder, strategic alliance, joint venture, partnership so many more I forget. I was pretty good at finding clients and that were qualified. I was just a little guy with big named clients.
The industry is in shambles and has basically been destroyed by the internet. There really is no need for them anymore. As sellers and buyers have decided a middle man is unnecessary. I had about 32 billion in client acquisitions that were qualified. However my major hurdle was the giants I struck a deal with to handle my clients. They tended to change the terms of the deal once I had the client. To favor them. They were arrogant. No client of mine would ever concede to there new unreasonable demands nor would I subject the clients I found to the one sided big deal the corporations revised.
Well now the industry is pretty much collapsed of brokering goods. As the big guys didn’t want to pay a middleman.it used to be that’s how the economy was run but not anymore it’s changed.
It did allow me in to learn how to gain clients in a lot of different industries.
I just had to learn the hard way to either be in control of the supply or be on the selling end of control of the supply. That was my error. I took it hard. Why it’s brought me here to what I’m doing now.
They call what happened in 2008, 2009 a financial crisis because all the financial institutions were failing.if they are in charge of the money and can’t keep afloat without a government bail out where does that leave the rest of us as society who don’t deal with financial transactions on a daily basis. If the brightest in the industry need to bail out. It’s not to good for those of us who don’t have there inside information and connections.
